Aman · 2026

Aman represents the pinnacle of luxury hospitality — resorts where rooms start at $2,000 per night and the guest list reads like a Fortune 500 index. Their website must convey exclusivity, serenity, and aspiration simultaneously, using cinematic photography, editorial pacing, and video-first storytelling to create a digital experience that feels like arriving at the property itself. The multi-CDN architecture — 126 assets spanning multiple hosting domains — made this one of our most technically demanding captures.

Luxury Digital Experience

Aman’s design language is built on absence — the absence of clutter, the absence of urgency, the absence of anything that might remind you this is a commercial website. Full-bleed photography dominates every viewport, shot with the cinematic quality of a Terrence Malick film: golden hour light on Adriatic coastlines, negative space compositions of minimalist architecture, intimate close-ups of handwoven textiles and hand-carved stone. The images don’t sell rooms. They sell a feeling of having already arrived.

The typography reinforces the editorial pacing. A refined serif family carries body copy and headings alike, set at generous sizes with luxurious leading that slows the reader down — deliberately. Muted earth tones and warm golds (#C5A572) anchor the color palette, appearing in navigation accents and subtle UI elements. There are no bright CTAs screaming “Book Now.” The booking functionality exists, but it recedes into the design, accessible to those who seek it without interrupting the experience for those still dreaming.

Our capture identified 30 distinct page sections, each crafted as a moment — a pause in the scroll where a single image and a few lines of text create a complete emotional beat. This editorial scroll pacing is Aman’s signature: the website as a slow, meditative experience that mirrors the unhurried luxury of the resorts themselves. Preserving this rhythm in a static capture meant preserving not just pixels but timing — the precise amount of whitespace between sections that creates the sensation of spaciousness.

Multi-CDN Orchestration

Aman’s asset architecture is the most distributed we’ve encountered: 126 assets spread across multiple CDN domains, each serving different content types. Property photography lives on one CDN, brand assets on another, fonts on a third, and the hero video streams from Vimeo’s infrastructure. Our standard single-domain CDN detection logic identified the primary image host quickly, but the secondary domains required manual whitelisting to avoid being filtered as third-party tracking pixels.

The CSS variable extraction was particularly rich — Aman’s design system uses custom properties extensively for color tokens, spacing scales, and animation timings. 29 inline SVGs handle everything from the Aman wordmark to navigation icons to decorative flourishes that appear between sections. Each SVG was extracted as an individual file while maintaining its exact inline rendering position in the rebuilt DOM.

The Vimeo-hosted hero video presented a familiar challenge: streaming video can’t be downloaded as a static asset in the same way images can. Our pipeline captures a poster frame and links to the original stream, preserving the visual impact of the hero section while acknowledging that video playback requires an active connection. The rest of the 126 assets — high-resolution property photography, brand fonts, stylesheets, and SVG iconography — were captured with high fidelity, creating a static archive that preserves Aman’s visual richness even without the dynamic video element.
